I wanted to dedicate a separate post just for moisturizers, since this is the step where my routine changes the most.
My morning and night routines are different, and I also switch products depending on how my skin feels.
So instead of sticking to just one product, I choose what works best for my skin in that moment.

Morning Moisturizers☀️
Moisturzier
For my morning routine, I use Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream.

It’s a very thick cream, and as I mentioned before, I don’t usually wear makeup.
I typically finish my routine with just moisturizer and sunscreen.
This product was actually recommended to me by a friend who is a dermatologist.
A few years ago, I suddenly started getting tiny bumps all over my face for no clear reason. My friend told me that it seemed like my skin barrier had been damaged.
Once your skin barrier is compromised, your skin can suddenly become very sensitive and prone to breakouts.
This was one of the products they recommended to help restore my skin barrier.
It’s very moisturizing and helps calm and protect my skin when it feels irritated or weakened.
However, I wouldn’t recommend this cream if you plan to wear makeup.
Since it’s quite thick, it can cause makeup—especially matte makeup—to pill.
Instead, on days when I’m only wearing sunscreen, this works really well. I apply a thin layer of this product first, and then go in with sunscreen.
Sunscreen
For sunscreen, I use Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing UV Lock.

This one also has moisturizing properties, so when I layer it over a light layer of Aestura, it feels just right.
I’ve tried many moisturizers and sunscreens, but this combination is honestly one of the best I’ve used so far.
I don’t have a lot to say about this product – it is just perfect for me.
It is very lightweight, but moisturizing with just enough SPF level. It does not leave any white case on the skin.
It’s also a very popular product in Korea, and I highly recommend it.
Mist
I like to use a mist throughout the day whenever my skin feels dry.
Especially at work, where I usually sit for at least 8 hours, the heater or AC is constantly running, which really dries out my skin.
This is the one I’m currently using.

It’s very hydrating and gentle, which makes it easy to use anytime; just a quick spray and dab.
(Just a little side note—did you know that mist can actually make your skin feel drier if it’s not used properly?
I’ve heard that if you spray mist and just leave it on your skin, the droplets can evaporate and take moisture from your skin with them, especially in dry environments with constant AC or heating.
That’s why I like to gently pat the mist into my skin after spraying it, instead of just letting it air dry.)
For the size of the bottle, brand name, and its 성능, this product is very affordable.
All the products that I listed above for my morning routine are fragrance-free. As mentioned in my previous post, I prefer a product without any scent, which also means one less unnecessary chemical on my skin.
Night Moisturizers🌙
For my night routine, I focus on building a strong base before going to bed.
I’ve found that if my skin isn’t properly moisturized at night, it feels much drier the next morning—and even throughout the next day.
I start with the Belif Sleeping Mask Bomb.

I ran into this product at TJ Maxx. I ran out of my moisturizer and saw this product so randomly.
I used to use Belif’s ‘The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb’, and I truly enjoyed it. I was familiar with this brand when I was in Korea, but I had never been exposed to it until then.
I had hoped to see the same product, but this was the only option available, so I chose it because I trust this brand.
When I first opened this product, I honestly thought it had gone bad because of its texture – it’s pudding-y, gel-ly, and jel-ly.
I am going to be honest here—when I first started using this product, I didn’t really like it.
The pudding-like texture felt strange to me at first, but after looking into why the texture was designed that way, I started understanding the product a little more.
This texture is actually meant to help lock in moisture for a longer peiord of time overnight.
It feels bouncy and lightweight, but still helps lock in moisture overnight without feeling too sticky or heavy. — Even though it has a lighter texture, it still leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated the next morning.
Another product that I really enjoy using is Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer.

I really love this product—it’s one of my favorites.
This product was recommended to me by a friend who used to work at Sephora.
To be completely honest, it is a bit on the expensive side—but in my opinion, it’s worth every dollar.
As you can see on the packaging, it contains peptides and ceramides.
Peptides help the skin feel firmer and healthier, while ceramides help protect the skin barrier and prevent moisture from escaping.
It’s rare to find a product where you notice a difference right away, but this was one of them for me.
Whenever I apply this before bed, I wake up the next morning with incredibly soft, baby-like skin.
I highly, highly recommend this product.
Final Thoughts
These are all the moisturizers I’m currently using.
I’ve learned that it’s not just about finding one perfect product,
but about adjusting based on the time of day and how my skin feels.
Layering products the right way has made a huge difference for my dry skin.
