Looking for products that are actually worth buying twice?
Here are 5 more I keep going back to: the Arencia Holy Hyssop Serum, Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream, Uriage Moisturizing Lipstick, Huxley Secret of Sahara hand cream, and Rael pimple patches.
This post is for you if:
- Your skin, lips or hands get dry from AC or heating all day
- You want things someone actually bought again, not just tried once
- You read Part 1 and wanted more
I promised a Part 2. Here it is.
Same rule as Part 1. Liking something isn’t enough. I had to actually buy it again.
The AC is still on at work. And the heater is already on at home. My skin, my lips and my hands all feel it. So these are the things I keep reaching for.
1. Arencia Holy Hyssop Serum 30

This is the serum that replaced my Estée Lauder brown bottle serum.
A friend showed it to me on a trip, over a year ago now. It’s so much cheaper, and on my skin it works just as well.
I’m on my third one now. I use it morning and night.

It’s a clear gel. It sinks in fast and isn’t sticky at all. My skin feels a lot more moisturized since I started using it.
I sometimes find it at TJ Maxx. When I do, I never just walk past it.
More about how I use it in my morning vs. night serum post.
2. Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream

A friend uses the Illiyoon body cream and kept telling me how good it was.
So I bought the one you can use on your face, on Amazon.
It’s a little lighter than my Aestura cream (it’s in Part 1). On days Aestura feels too heavy, I use this instead.
My husband loves it even more. It’s his main cream, morning and night.
The tube is huge. We share one, and it still lasts us over a month. It spreads easily and the moisture stays for a long time. And it’s cheap for how much you get. Now I just have it on a recurring order on Amazon.
3. Uriage Moisturizing Lipstick

Another one from a friend. Her lips get dry like mine, and she’s just as picky about lip stuff. So I trusted her.
Don’t let the name fool you. It’s a clear balm, not a color. It goes on really light, with no stuffy feeling, but it lasts a long time.
I use it mostly before bed. I put on a lot, and my lips still feel soft the next morning.

It smells a little like cherry. Maybe cherry and vanilla? It’s so faint that it doesn’t bother me.
It’s not expensive either. It came in at #2 in my lip balm post.
4. Huxley Secret of Sahara Hand Cream

In my hand cream post, I gave this one 150 out of 10. I meant it.
I first borrowed a friend’s. The scent got me first, then the texture.
After that, I asked another friend going to Korea to bring one back for me. And on my own trip to Korea, I stocked up.

My hands get powdery fast under the AC at work. This is the one that lives on my desk.
5. Rael Miracle Invisible Spot Cover (Pimple Patches)

I am going to be honest here. I’m a picker.
If there’s a pimple on my face, I can’t leave it alone. These patches are what stop me.
I tried a few brands before these. Now I’ve bought at least 10 boxes.

You get a lot in one box, so I never run out at the worst moment. They come in small pouches inside the box. And they’re almost invisible on my skin.
My whole routine is in my pimple post.

Funny thing. Four of these five came from friends.
Honestly, my friends are better than any review.
What’s the one product you keep buying again? Tell me. I might add it to Part 3.
Thank you for reading.
Sincerely,
Hazel 🙂
